A unique 30m yacht
This project beautifully encapsulates the essence of collaboration and creativity, where the vision of the clients and the dedication of the team converge to create something remarkable. Luca Brenta created the unique 30m yacht, CNB was able to dedicate their shipbuilding knowledge to achieve this challenging design and Wetzels | Brown worked closely with the client to achieve the exact spirit they had in mind.
Blank canvas on which to bring a dream alive
This client couple had dreamt of building this yacht since they met at university and had planned what it needed to be over and over again in their head. After a lifetime of putting work first, now was the moment to realise their dream. We have a white paper to make this dream come alive. The infectious energy of everyone came together every meeting to brainstorm how to go better – more beautiful, faster, more technologically clever.
Essential to our approach is that our designs develop new ideas with an enduring quality. The colours were quickly settled on as black and white. Black for the interior curved hull shape and white softness for the added interior elements. At launch there was much speculation from onlookers that this was a cold interior but everyone who stepped onboard felt the light airy welcome feel. It is an amazing open feel under the crystal shaped glass roof.

A harmonious blend of technology, design, and personal expression
A new chair was developed for this yacht as we could not find as chair that looked as good from the back as the front…and on the sofa you spend a long time looking at the back! This was one of the first 3D printed chairs and it was made of 2 shells that ‘snap’ together. The interior is covered in a soft leather and the exterior was hand polished and lacquered to a wonderful smooth finish as sitting for long periods you always touch the frame.
This project is not just about building a yacht; it’s about realizing a dream and creating a lasting legacy that embodies the couple’s journey together. The result is a harmonious blend of technology, design, and personal expression that will be cherished for years to come.

Craftsmanship through Time

For our project at Faena House in Miami, the client sought a vision of “Hardcore Art Deco.” This wasn’t merely an obsession with the style, but rather an appreciation for the finest elements of the past, blended with a forward-looking perspective—an invitation to indulge in Miami’s vibrant culture alongside the Faena Hotel and cultural centre next door.

This project prominently features light as a constant element high above the city, thanks to its 360-degree windows that showcase the shifting illumination throughout the day. The apartment design was inspired by our client’s vision of a bespoke coastal entertaining space – relaxed and comfortable with just the right amount of city chic. We took inspiration from the location – hot sun, warm sea and endless sand dunes.
