Bentley styled yacht interior created by the collaboration of Contest Yachts and Bentley Motors
Contest Yachts and Bentley Motors have teamed up to design a unique interior for a special 20-meter yacht, the Contest 67CS for a mutual client. This collaboration blends Bentley’s distinct style with Contest’s craftsmanship, resulting in a luxurious interior that highlights the expertise of both brands.
Bentley’s design team worked closely with Contest and interior designers Wetzels Brown Partners, using innovative methods like 3D printing to ensure precision in creating components. The interior features Bentley’s iconic diamond quilted leather hides, incorporating techniques like hand cross stitching.
This collaboration opens up the possibility of creating yacht interiors inspired by Bentley’s automotive design. Contest CEO Arjen Conijn is excited about the partnership, seeing potential for a dedicated line of Bentley-featured Contest Yachts. Dr. Matthias Rabe of Bentley Motors praises the precision and innovation involved, emphasizing the shared commitment to performance, luxury, and sustainability between the two brands.

This project prominently features light as a constant element high above the city, thanks to its 360-degree windows that showcase the shifting illumination throughout the day. The apartment design was inspired by our client’s vision of a bespoke coastal entertaining space – relaxed and comfortable with just the right amount of city chic. We took inspiration from the location – hot sun, warm sea and endless sand dunes.
